Merry Christmas!

Easton enjoying his first taste of Pizza (crust only) at Davidson & Jud's Birthday Party

Davidson turned 6 on the 27th and Jud turned 4 on the 14th....Gonnie's Birthday was on the 23rd! December is a busy month!

Christmas Eve! We started out the night at Gramma Sutton & Shorty's house. Easton added another adorable hat to his collection from KK. This time she made him a frog hat...just in case you couldn't tell. Eventually Matt will put a stop to these, but for now they are precious.

Next stop was Cathy & Brian's house for the "Davidson Family" Christmas celebration. Hunt and Easton didn't get to sit in Santa's lap, but rather Gonnie's. I think they enjoyed this much more.

Christmas morning! We first opened presents at our house, then headed down the street to see Davidson, Jud, Hunt, Aunt Molly, Uncle Barry, Sasa, Gonnie, Ma & Papa. Then we left for Poppy and KK's house where a couple of other sleepy kids (Aunt An and Uncle Wes) were waiting on us.
Poppy got him a football ride toy! He wasn't sure what to do with it, but enjoyed the ride as long as mommy was pushing him. We just left him in his PJs all day, that way we didn't have to worry about unbuttoning his pants half way through the day to keep him comfortable...we've all been there.

Our last stop of the day before we headed home was to "the Valley" for the Shanks family Christmas. Easton loved Gramma Shanks' "ear bobs" as she calls them otherwise known as earrings.

This evening and weekend became a very special Christmas celebration. Although we didn't realize it at the time, it would become the last Christmas we would spend with Uncle Stanley (my dad's younger brother). He passed away suddenly 4 days later on the 29th. We will miss his stories, laughter and kind spirit. We will also miss him leading the family hikes on the farm. Most of all I'll miss his hugs. We are so grateful that we were able to spend time with him over the weekend. I wish I had a picture to share of him and Easton, but he ran from the camera most of the time.

Easton enjoyed his first Christmas and was exhausted by the time we headed home later that night and so were his mom and dad. I know it's a little late, but Merry Christmas!
